Senior Artificial Intelligence Business Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Senior Artificial Intelligence (AI) Business Consultant to join our team. This customer-facing role is critical in delivering AI-driven solutions that empower businesses to achieve strategic objectives, optimize operations, and enhance customer experiences. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical awareness in AI technologies with exceptional consulting skills to identify opportunities, design tailored solutions and foster long-term client relationships.

The Senior AI Business Consultant will assist in scoping and designing Artificial Intelligence (AI) and large-scale Data Analytics solutions for our customers. This position also demands strong analytical, problem solving and planning skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills are required with the motivation to achieve results in a dynamic business environment. After gaining in-depth understanding of the client’s business challenges, our Business Consultants apply experience-based insight and use state-of-the-art tools and techniques to identify the best solutions. The Senior AI Business Consultant is viewed as a local thought leader in the data and AI space.

Note: This is a remote opportunity and can be located from anywhere in the United States. #LI-Remote.

Responsibilities:

  • Elicit clients' business goals, challenges, and industry-specific needs to identify AI opportunities and translate into functional specifications.
  • Document specifications for analytics/AI solutions, platform architecture, and other artifacts; write detailed designs, clearly convey intent and ideas to the developers, negotiate technical solutions across teams when needed.
  • Lead workshops and discovery sessions to gather requirements and define project scopes and identify opportunities for leveraging data and AI to solve complex business problems and drive competitive advantage. Assist in estimation efforts.
  • Create tailored AI strategies aligned with client objectives, incorporating advanced technologies such as machine learning, natural language processing, and computer vision.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to design and present end-to-end AI solutions, including proof of concepts (POCs) and implementation roadmaps.
  • Stay current on AI trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements to provide clients with cutting-edge insights. Contribute to internal knowledge sharing, training, and development initiatives.
  • Lead project and program teams; collaborating with team members in a global distributed team environment.
  • Support the development of our competency in the Data and AI Business Line.
  • Seamlessly shift between multiple, concurrent projects.
  • May require domestic travel up to 10%.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in business consulting, with a focus on AI and digital transformation.
  • Proven track record of delivering AI/ML projects across industries.
  • Extensive experience in customer-facing roles, managing diverse stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of AI technologies, including machine learning, natural language processing, data analytics, and cloud-based platforms.
  • In-depth knowledge of business operations, industry best practices, and digital transformation strategies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to plan, track, and report the status of deliverables.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in engineering, computer science, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Over 10 years of experience in large, international data solution implementation programs.
  • Technical knowledge in programming, scripting, and related standards (e.g., Python, bash).
  • 10+ years of related software experience to accelerate a customer’s digital transformation which can incorporate any of the following: advanced analytics, AI tools, artificial intelligence (AI), Machine Learning, and Big Data.
  • 5+ years cloud software delivery experience as a data engineer or related role.
  • Experience in data modeling.
  • Experience in designing and building solutions using LLMs (foundation models, APIs, frameworks, prompt engineering, and techniques).
